Who says vegetable gardens can’t be beautiful?

Custom-built raised beds are filled with edible plants and framed by lush plantings. At the center of the garden is a seating area for enjoying a morning coffee or a late afternoon garden-side lunch. This White Plains garden is owned by a nutritionist who was looking to create a supersized vegetable garden to support her work with clients. We responded by designing and installing a large garden with custom-built, cedar raised beds. Of course we also added pockets of wildflowers, roses, lilac, crapemyrtle and other perennials to make this vegetable garden even more beautiful. This client enjoys warm summer afternoons sitting in the garden having tea and eating veggies picked fresh from her backyard.
